Introduction

Responsive Banner slider plugin is a small but powerful component that allows you to create unlimited banner sliders for your wordpress site. The plugin makes it easy to create and publish the banner slider on any page/post with shortcode.

Create unlimited slides and banners, and link any slide to one or more banners easily. The plugin also offers multiple options to configure the shortcode that displays the banner slider. The sliders are not configured globally, but in the shortcode, which allows you to configure the same banner slider with different options for different pages where the banner slider is displayed.

Compatibility

Installation

Log in to our website. Download the plugin files from My Downloads section.
There are 2 method to upload the extension: Unpack the purchased extension file downloaded from our site and upload the contents of the file to the plugins directory of your wordpress installation. /wp-content/plugins Log in to your worpdress admin. Go to Plugins > Add New. Click on the Upload Plugin button, which will diplay a file upload field as shown in the image. Upload your downloaded zip file and click on the button Install Now
To activate the extension, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins. Click on the Activate button as shown in the image.
To deactivate the extension, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins. Click on the Deactivate button as shown in the image.

Configuration

Add new slider

Go to HS - Banner Slider > Slider To new add new slider, fill in the Add New Slider form as mentioned below and click on the button Add New Slider

Name: Enter a name to identify your slider. Unique name would make it easier for you to identify the slider. Slug: This is an optional field. Enter a URL friendly version of the name. Follow the instructions below the slug field to add slug. You can leave this field empty, in which case the slug will be generated automatically. Parent: None. Description: This is an optional field. Fill this in to describe your slider.   Once you save the slider, the slider will appear in the table/grid next to the form with the generated shortcode to display the slider in any page/post. The grid will also diplay the number of banners/slides linked to that slider. You can edit the slider by clicking on the name of the slider in the grid.

Add new slide

Go to HS - Banner Slider > Add New Slide or go to HS - Banner Slider > All Slides and click on Add New button.

Title: Enter a title to identify your slide. Unique name would make it easier for you to identify the slide. Featured Image: Click on the Set featured image link and upload or select an image for your wordpress gallery. Slider: Select one or more sliders from the slider section to which you want to link the slide to. You can also add new sliders by clicking the Add New Slider button. Click on the button Publish to publish the slide.

Note: To add the plugin to your page/post, copy the shortcode from the HS - Banner Slider > Slider section and paste it in the wysiwyg of your page or post.
