Why doesn't the extension hide the add to cart button?
The reason for this is most likely a clash with some other third-party extension or theme. In the admin,
- Go to Stores > Configuration > Developer, under Debug tab, set Yes against .
- Go to the frontend page where the price is not being hidden, and find the template that outputs the add to cart button onto the page.
- Now follow the instructions in the user guide under the section Optional Modifications and wrap the part of the code that outputs the add to cart button.
Can I hide add to compare and add to wishlist button when price is hidden?
Yes, you can hide both compare and wishlist buttons when the price is hidden by configuring it in Stores > Configuration > Hide Product Price.
Can I display price for products in certain categories while hiding the rest?
Yes, you can display the price for products in selected categories while the rest of the products have their prices hidden as configured. You can do so by going to Stores > Configuration > Hide Product Price:
- Select Yes against
- Select the categories that should display the prices for the products.
Can I modify the test displayed when prices are hidden?
Yes, the text displayed when prices are hidden can be modified at: Stores > Configuration > Hide Product Price, enter the custom text you want displayed in the field .
Can I display prices only to customers belonging to certain customer groups?
Yes, it is possible to configure to display prices only to customers belonging to certain selected customers.
- Go to Stores > Configuration > Hide Product Price
- Select Yes against
- Select the customer groups in the field
